20th anniversary for Thomas Hylle

In August, we celebrate a significant milestone for Thomas Hylle, who marks his 20th anniversary with the company. Congratulations on this special day!

With a background as an electronics engineer from Odense, where he graduated in 2004, Thomas has evolved over the years from a technical specialist to a leader at Eltronic. After completing his education, Thomas began his career at PJD A/S, where he worked for 14 years. Here, he acquired fundamental skills in electronics and software development. When PJD was acquired by Eltronic in 2017, Thomas restarted his journey with Eltronic.

A journey of growth

In 2021, Thomas took a significant step in his career by becoming the leader of the newly established software group at Eltronic. The transition from specialist to leader was challenging but also incredibly rewarding for Thomas. “It required me to learn how to achieve success through other people, which was a completely new experience for me,” he explains. His dedication to developing his leadership skills has also led him to begin an education in Engineering Business Administration.

The cornerstones of Thomas’ leadership: Psychological aafety and a culture of improvement

Thomas has always had a strong curiosity and a desire for continuous improvement, which quickly became characteristic of his work. For Thomas, two values are essential in his work: psychological safety and a culture of improvement. He has created a workplace where employees feel safe and where there is a focus on continuous improvement. “It is important to me that my team feels safe. When we feel safe, it opens the door to curiosity, and it is precisely through safety that we can innovate. Focusing on improvements and a culture of improvement is where curiosity thrives, and where we can develop new ideas and solutions,” Thomas explains.

A company in rapid growth

Thomas has closely witnessed Eltronic’s remarkable growth, from a smaller company to a larger global corporation. He looks back on this journey with pride and recognizes the significant growth the company has undergone. “It is impressive to see how much we have grown and how large a part of this journey I have been. I believe our core values have played a central role in preserving our unique culture throughout the development we have experienced at Eltronic.”

Even though Thomas has spent many years at Eltronic, his curiosity and desire to learn remain intact. He greatly appreciates the opportunities the company offers for personal and professional development. “It’s fantastic to work in a place where your curiosity and desire to improve are valued and supported,” he concludes.
