Karl Erik Henriksen celebrates 25 years at Eltronic

Today, we’re celebrating a very special milestone – Karl Erik Bank Henriksen has been part of Eltronic for 25 years. Over the years, Karl Erik has helped develop both his own and his department’s skills within PLC and robot programming. He has played a key role in shaping Eltronic’s technical journey.

Congratulations to Karl Erik Bank Henriksen on his impressive 25-year anniversary at Eltronic!

From second-hand furniture to high-tech solutions

When Karl Erik first joined Eltronic, the company was still in its early days. So early, in fact, that Lars Jensen was out picking up second-hand furniture for the office from the Salvation Army. Back then, there were only 25 employees, and as Lars said at the time:

“I can guarantee you – we’ll never be more than 25 people.”

Today, things look a bit different – but the same drive and team spirit live on, something Karl Erik has always appreciated.

A technical journey driven by curiosity

Karl Erik was originally hired as a PLC programmer, but it quickly became clear that the company needed employees who could do more than just one thing. So, he continued his education in robot programming, which has led to many exciting tasks – both in Denmark and abroad.

It’s the combination of new technology, professional challenges, and the chance to keep learning that has motivated him throughout the years.

A balance between stability and change

When asked why he’s stayed with Eltronic for 25 years, Karl Erik points to the unique mix of stability and change. The strong sense of community and close knowledge sharing have always meant a lot to him – as has the professional environment, where skilled colleagues inspire and lift each other.

The culture of freedom with responsibility has allowed for both focus and development, and it’s precisely the ongoing technical challenges and continuous learning that keep his curiosity alive.
What he works on today isn’t the same as five years ago – and that’s exactly how Karl Erik likes it.

Congratulations, Karl Erik!
